These Beyond Business English sessions within our Academy are ideal for motivated professionals who want to improve their business English vocabulary and gain confidence to communicate effectively in English in various business situations: meetings, phone calls, presentations, letters, and other situations at work.

A wide range of topics, language areas and activities are covered to encourage communication among students. All our sessions are students centred and flexible with 24/7 access, so you can choose what you want to learn and when. And what suits you best!

£8-25hour
  • 1 student – £25/ hr
  • 2 students – £15 each/ hr
  • 3-4 students – £10 each/ hr
  • 5-8 students -£8 each/ hr
  • group course( 1 x 120 mins; 5-8 students) -£192

I am a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) -qualified English teacher with a university degree in English Language and Literature. I am a bilingual speaker of English and Czech/Slovak. I first started teaching in 1996 in Slovakia.  I am now based in Newbury, UK where I have been teaching English for the last 13 years.

Twenty years later and I still LOVE it!  😊

Over the years I have built up substantial experience teaching in all areas of EFL/EAP/ESOL, including classroom-based teaching, online teaching, 1:1 and asylum seekers. I have taught General English, Business English and have prepared students for a variety of English exams. I like teaching students of all ages and all levels, from beginners to advanced but have a particular interest in preparing students for exams, such as PET, FCE, CAE & IELTS.

I have an excellent knowledge of English and offer lively, engaging, and interesting lessons that appeal to a wide variety of people. I adapt my teaching style to suit the levels, skills, and interests of the class. I take a genuine interest in my learners and really care about their progress.

      About me

      I am now a specially trained and fully certified ESOL/EFL teacher I started out as an average student taking language classes in Russian, German and English with dreams of becoming fluent.
      After my amazing year in Brighton back in 1995 I emerged with a life-changing experience: near fluency in the language and a clarity that English was my PASSION.
